World’s Ugliest Dog Vote Compromised!
Ah, the intensity of the competition has obviously heated up. So much so that someone, somewhere, is tampering with our votes. Both Victoria and PeeWee have been the victims, losing thousands of votes in a single night. Our web sleuths are on it.”
The Sonoma-Marin County Fair Ugly Dog Contest is the world standard in ugly dogs. This year the Fair added an unofficial online contest. Sounds like fun, except some idiot hacked in and deleted thousands of votes.
Among the 11 competitors currently in the competiton, eight are Chinese Cresteds.
Chinese Cresteds are the Michael Jordan’s of the ugly dog pageant circuit. Three time World’s Ugliest Dog winner, Sam, became quite famous recently before he passed away. These dogs are far from cute, but it’s nice to see that they are still loved and cared for like their prettier brethren.
You can find out more about these ugly dogs and vote for your favorite at the Sonoma-Marin County Fair’s site. The official World’s Ugliest Dog will take place on June 23rd at the Fair in Petaluma, California. And, here’s more ugly dogs from previous comptetitions.
P.S. - A tip for anyone hacking into ugly dog contest websites; turn off the computer, change out of your Homer Simpson pajama pants, go outside and get yourself some sunshine, maybe even a friend or two.

AAUGH! I thought the dogs around here were ugly. Now I’ll have nightmares. Poor things. I’m glad someone loves them.
